His family knew him as a wonderful, loving son and brother.
His business colleagues found him to be a talented sales associate and manager, hardworking and honest.
But his friends knew Jeff at his best. "He was always there for you... no questions asked."
"He was a friend to all, especially someone new or having a hard time." Jeff was a true friend.
Learning of his sudden death to acute pneumococcal meningitis on September 22, 2000, the family,
friends and business associates of Jeff contributed to a memorial fund in his honor. This fund has
been secured as an endowment to annually provide one or two scholarships to college bound graduating
seniors of St. Mary's High School, Annapolis, MD, Jeff's high school alma mater. Through this
scholarship established in his memory, it is hoped that the spirit of kindness, generosity and
integrity, much a part of Jeff's character, will live forever.
